DMK leader Senthil Balaji on Saturday alleged that cases are being filed to divert attention from people’s issues.

Speaking after he arrived at the Triplicane police station to sign as part of a police procedure, Balaji said he was not someone who would be scared by such developments.

He also rejected any suggestion that he was evading authorities, stating that he had not run away or gone into hiding.

Balaji added that he had no need to do so, reiterating his stand while leaving the station.

The remarks were made amid political discussions around alleged “horse-trading”, as referenced in the video report.
