Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Puducherry on August 8. The visit is linked to the President’s Colour Award announced for the Puducherry Police.
According to the programme, Shah will travel from Delhi to Chennai and then fly by helicopter to Puducherry, reaching the Puducherry airport at 4:55 pm. He will proceed by road and stay overnight at the Judges’ Guest House located along the Puducherry seafront.
On August 9, he will attend a function at the Gorimedu Police Ground at 8:10 am, where he will present the President’s Colour Award to police personnel.
After the event, Shah is set to fly by helicopter at 10:50 am to Tiruvannamalai to visit the Raman Ashram and a temple. He will then return by helicopter to Chennai and fly onward to Delhi.
