Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday said the situation during the Delhi protest was handled in an appropriate manner and that the full truth would emerge in due course.
Speaking in Jaipur, he alleged that individuals with criminal backgrounds had infiltrated the protest and attempted to create confusion. He said he was confident that, over time, people would understand how such elements tried to take over the movement and disrupt it.
Goyal also referred to incidents of question paper leaks in states such as Jharkhand and Telangana, calling them a challenge for the country.
He further said that despite global economic headwinds, India continues to be among the world’s fastest-growing economies. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, he added, India is progressing rapidly and aims to become a developed nation by 2047, contributing significantly to global growth.
