Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the phone to discuss the situation in West Asia and the state of bilateral relations, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.

The two leaders reviewed the continued progress in the India–Israel partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to further expand cooperation in areas of mutual benefit.

India and Israel have maintained long-standing collaboration across sectors including security, agriculture, technology, innovation, water management, cyber security and trade, with both sides sustaining regular high-level engagement to strengthen ties.

During the conversation, the leaders also exchanged views on the latest security and political developments in West Asia, the statement said.
