Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain for drawing attention to an incorrect map of India displayed at a hotel in Glasgow, Scotland.

According to the report, the incident occurred during the 2026 Commonwealth Games, when athletes were staying at the hotel. Lovlina noticed that the map did not include India’s Northeastern states.

She immediately pointed out that the map was wrong, prompting attention to the issue.

The Prime Minister’s appreciation highlighted her alertness in identifying the error during the international sporting event.
