The Tamil Nadu government has issued orders transferring 10 IPS officers across key wings of the police department.
As per the reshuffle, Balanaga Devi has been appointed as Director General of Police (DGP) of the Crime Branch-Criminal Investigation Department (CBCID).
Other postings include Abin Dinesh Modak as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Cyber Crime, and Vidhya Jayanth Kulkarni as ADGP, Economic Offences Wing.
In district and unit-level changes, Ramamoorthi has been posted as SP, Q Branch, while Aravind will serve as SP, CID, Chennai. Arpita Rajput has been appointed Deputy Commissioner, Anna Nagar, Chennai.
Further, Eswaran has been posted as SP, Commando Force; Senthilkumar as SP, Coastal Security Group, Nagapattinam; Saravanakumar as SP, Anti-Terrorism Squad, Chennai; and Rameshbabu as Deputy Commissioner, Tirunelveli headquarters.
