Chennai: Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s long-term vision is motivating him and his team to work even harder.

In a post, Vembu referred to Modi’s Independence Day message urging Indian companies to be counted among the world’s leading firms. He said the appeal is encouraging and signals the need for a strong, deep commitment to research and development at every level.

Vembu said India should aim to be at the forefront of key technologies such as algorithms, artificial intelligence, robotics and rockets. He added that the country has the intellectual capability to achieve this.

Calling the Prime Minister’s outlook “bold,” Vembu said it is pushing Zoho to intensify its efforts. He also conveyed Independence Day greetings and ended with “Jai Hind.”
