Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared an Instagram video showing him feeding calves and peacocks kept at his official residence in Delhi.
The Prime Minister’s home at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg has a large garden, where he is seen caring for cows, calves and other animals as pets. Earlier, he had posted a video about a cow giving birth at his residence.
In that earlier post, he named the calf “Deepjyoti,” noting a bright mark on its forehead, and had shared visuals of spending time with the calf. The clip had gone viral online.
In the latest video, Modi is seen affectionately feeding the cows and offering grains to peacocks from his hand. In his caption, he wrote that feeding his “friends” every morning is part of his routine, and that they gathered around him when he was leaving for the Red Fort, making it a memorable moment.
