Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday thanked Israel President Isaac Herzog for conveying greetings on India’s 80th Independence Day.
In a social media post, Modi said India “values its friendship with Israel” and remains committed to further strengthening bilateral relations for the welfare of the people of both countries.
The Prime Minister also expressed gratitude to other world leaders who sent Independence Day wishes, including Guyana President Dr Irfaan Ali and French President Emmanuel Macron.
Modi shared the messages of thanks through posts on social media.
