A parents-teachers association (PTA) meeting and an Ullas certificate distribution programme were held at the Athingapattu Government Middle School in Bahour.
Headmistress Nancy Angelin presided over the event, while Tamil teacher Ragunathan delivered the introductory address.
During the meeting, newly elected PTA office-bearers Maheswaran, Muthulakshmi, Nancy Angelin and Ragunathan were honoured. Certificates were also presented to out-of-school students who took part in the Ullas education scheme conducted in November 2025 and successfully completed the examination.
Participants discussed a range of issues including school development, student progress, uniforms, discipline, punctuality and students’ health. The arrangements were coordinated by teachers Selvi Virginia, Yoganathan, Dhanavanthani, Rajalakshmi, Lokeshwari, Poongodi, Mani Reva Sangeetha, Pradeepa and Raghavan.
