A North cluster schoolgirls’ football tournament was conducted at Micro Kids School in Kaniyampoondi, Tiruppur.
The event was organised by the Sports Wing of the District School Education Department, bringing together student teams for competitive matches.
School correspondent Shankar and Principal Mary Margaret inaugurated the tournament and flagged off the fixtures.
Matches were held across age categories including 14, 17 and 19 years. The winning teams from the tournament qualified for the state-level competition.
