The Dinamalar Smart Shoppers Expo 2026, presented jointly by Dinamalar and Sathya, opened on August 21 at Tamukkam Ground in Madurai. The event was inaugurated by Madurai Collector Nishanth Krishna.
Organisers said the expo brings together a wide range of household and lifestyle products along with entertainment features aimed at attracting shoppers from the southern districts. The exhibition will continue until August 24.
The stalls include ready-made apparel for women and men, beauty products, fancy bags, designer jewellery, footwear and traditional saree varieties. Visitors can also get free mehendi in attractive designs.
For children, the expo offers toys and books, along with free colourful balloons. Facilities such as two-wheeler and car parking, medical assistance, and CCTV surveillance have been arranged.
The expo is open 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, with tickets issued from 11:00 am to 8:30 pm. Sponsors listed include associate sponsors Ananda & Ananda, Muthu Metal; co-sponsors Frank Paper, Kovai Lakshmi; eco-friendly partner National Jute Board; and audio sponsor Info Bus.
