New Delhi: Pakistani terrorist Shashad Batti, who is wanted by Indian agencies, has released a fresh video claiming that “3,000 of my men are still outside and free,” while denying any connection to those recently arrested in India.

According to the report, Shashad—described as a former criminal who later turned into a terrorist—has been attempting to run his network in India while allegedly hiding in the United Arab Emirates. Information has also surfaced earlier that he may have the backing of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI.

Indian intelligence inputs had warned that members linked to his group were planning an attack on Independence Day. Following this, coordinated operations were carried out across 14 states, and security forces and police said the plot was foiled.

More than 200 youths who were allegedly in contact with Shashad were arrested from areas including Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Weapons, explosives and surveillance devices were reportedly seized.

In his latest video posted on social media, Shashad claimed those arrested were not his associates and demanded that the government publicly release the faces of the detainees and details of the seized weapons, including where they were manufactured. He also said he was ready to provide legal and financial support if the arrested persons contacted him.
