Chennai: Chief Minister Vijay has congratulated teachers from Tamil Nadu who have been selected for the National Teachers’ Award presented by the President, ahead of Teachers’ Day.
In a statement, he conveyed his heartfelt wishes and appreciation to Thangaraj, a teacher at the Puliyampatti Panchayat Union Primary School, and Amutha, a teacher at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya in Madurai.
The Chief Minister said the honour recognises their dedication to the noble task of shaping students’ futures, their innovative teaching practices, and their concern for student welfare.
He added that the recognition brings further pride to Tamil Nadu’s educational achievements and to the entire teaching community in the state.
CM Vijay expressed hope that the national award would motivate them further and help brighten the lives of countless students.
