A post shared on X by Neetu Khandelwal has gone viral after claiming that a Delhi-based astrologer earns about ₹2.5 crore a year through paid consultations.
According to the post, the astrologer charges ₹25,000 for a package of three consultations a year. It further claims the astrologer has around 1,000 clients who pay this fee.
The post also triggered a wave of humorous reactions from users. One commenter quipped that the astrologer is not reading the stars but has “studied the market.”
Another user joked about paying ₹25,000 for occasional advice, saying their relatives provide the same service for free for a lifetime. A different comment described astrology as a “billion-dollar business” that can withstand economic slowdowns—and may even grow during downturns.
