PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss on Tuesday alleged that up to 80% of Rahul Gandhi’s speeches at public meetings are untrue, claiming that people are well aware of it. He also took aim at what he described as “hero worship” by some Congress members from Tamil Nadu.
In his remarks, Anbumani accused the Congress of repeatedly disrupting proceedings in the Lok Sabha and not allowing the House to function. He contrasted this with the party’s relatively muted stance in Tamil Nadu, attributing it to its position in the state’s cabinet and the lack of a sizeable number of its own MLAs.
He further criticised senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram, alleging that he was making claims assuming the public would not know the facts.
On policy, Anbumani said artificial intelligence would be used across companies in India over the next 20 years and welcomed the idea of teaching AI-related education from the school level.
He also suggested that district-wise planning based on local produce, available minerals and existing industries could create more jobs and business opportunities, helping Tamil Nadu progress further.
