HarperCollins, the New York–headquartered publishing house, has announced that it will release Congress senior leader Sonia Gandhi’s autobiography in India on November 10.

The book, titled Belonging: A Journey of Love, is being prepared as a 544-page work. Earlier, it had been indicated that the international edition would be brought out by Alfred A. Knopf, an imprint under Penguin Random House.

The development follows Penguin India’s decision not to publish the title in India, despite initially being prepared to do so. The report said the publisher had sought changes and removal of certain portions, which Sonia Gandhi did not accept.

HarperCollins made the announcement through an official post on social media, describing the autobiography as long-awaited and confirming the India release date as November 10.
