Minister Sengottaiyan on Friday said Chief Minister Vijay’s vision is for Tamil Nadu to become a pioneer in every field in India.

Speaking to reporters at Chennai airport, the minister said the state is witnessing many changes and that each step taken by the Chief Minister is being closely watched by people across Tamil Nadu, as well as Tamils living abroad.

He pointed to recent developments in the Assembly, noting that for the first time a woman presided over the House as an alternate leader, and that an opportunity was created for a member from the Muslim community to preside the next day.

Sengottaiyan said these steps reflect the Chief Minister’s intent that “everyone should get everything,” adding that the events over the past two days were in line with that goal. He also described Vijay as a leader capable of guiding Tamil Nadu effectively.
