DVAC police on Friday carried out searches at 19 locations linked to former DMK minister K.N. Nehru and his brother Ravichandran, according to sources.
The searches began in the morning and covered multiple areas including Chennai and Tiruchirappalli. Locations mentioned include Adyar and Thiruvanmiyur in Chennai.
In Chennai, officials searched Ravichandran’s office. In Tiruchirappalli, a search was conducted at Nehru’s residence in Thillai Nagar.
DVAC sources indicated the action was connected to allegations of illegal collections made in the name of “party funds” related to government tenders. Further details were not immediately available.
