AIADMK district secretaries met in Chennai on Saturday under the leadership of party general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS), party sources said.
The meeting was held at the party headquarters in Royapettah. Several district secretaries attended, and discussions covered plans to convene the party’s executive committee and general council, along with organisational development work.
Sources said the leadership also reviewed strategy for the upcoming local body elections, including steps to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and ways to attract youth.
Earlier in the day, EPS paid respects at the statues of MGR and J Jayalalithaa located at the party headquarters.
