Chennai: Arjunamurthy, Tamil Nadu state president of the BJP’s NGO wing, issued a message praising Dinamalar for its long-standing contribution to Tamil society.

He said the newspaper has, for 75 years, travelled alongside the thoughts and everyday life of the Tamil community, delivering news with a Tamil perspective while keeping truth, trust and social responsibility as its foundation.

Arjunamurthy highlighted Dinamalar’s role in safeguarding Tamil culture, arts, traditions, civilisation and the values of Tamil life, and in carrying these forward to the next generation.

Calling it more than a newspaper’s journey, he described the 75-year run as a “seal of trust” built together with the Tamil community. He expressed hope that the daily would continue to speak the truth, uphold Tamil heritage and guide society for many more years.

He also said the occasion stood as the highest recognition for Dinamalar’s service to Tamil society over 75 years, with the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and added that it was a moment of pride not only for the newspaper but for the wider Tamil community as well.
