Chennai: Marking the coral jubilee of Dinamalar, the Sringeri Shankaracharya, Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Swamigal, issued a message of blessings praising the newspaper’s stated commitment to nationalism and spirituality.

Citing Adi Shankaracharya’s commentary, he highlighted the need to avoid deceiving others, to ensure harmony between thought and action, to refrain from falsehood, and to remain truthful at all times.
He said these virtues are essential not only for individuals but also for responsible newspapers that inform society. He noted that the founder, T.V. Ramasubba Iyer, ran Dinamalar by giving importance to these values and by carrying content that blended national spirit with spiritual themes.

He added that the founder’s successors and staff have continued to run the newspaper without deviating from this purpose, and said it was a matter of joy that the publication is celebrating its coral jubilee.
He also expressed happiness that Dinamalar, with devotion to the Sringeri Jagadguru, regularly publishes reports on notable events at the Sringeri Math and on the Mahaswamigal’s pilgrimage visits. Invoking the blessings of Sri Sarada Chandramouleeswara and his guru’s grace, he wished that Dinamalar would continue to serve the public for a long time and that its management and employees receive many benefits.
