A family in Gopalganj district of Bihar has drawn attention online after choosing an unusual way to protect their SUV from theft.
According to the report, Manoj, a resident of the area, had gone abroad for work. With theft fears in the locality, his family worried about how to safeguard their Scorpio if it was left parked at the entrance.
After deliberation, they arranged for a large three-storey crane and lifted the vehicle onto the terrace of their two-storey house, parking it there to keep it out of reach.
A video showing the crane hoisting the SUV and placing it on the rooftop has been widely shared on social media, with many users reacting with amusement at the family’s “anti-theft” idea.
