DMK president M.K. Stalin on Tuesday remarked that the proceedings of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly have reached a point where people are compelled to ask whether it is being conducted with dignity.

He made the comment while speaking to reporters at Anna Arivalayam in Chennai.

Responding to a question on whether the Assembly is functioning in a dignified manner, Stalin said the very fact that such a question is being raised reflects the current state of affairs.

Stalin did not elaborate further beyond stating that the situation in the House has led to doubts about its decorum.
