Apple is set to hold its annual iPhone launch event today (September 9), where it is expected to introduce its first foldable iPhone. Ahead of the event, multiple reports and speculations about the devices to be announced have been circulating.

The foldable iPhone is widely expected to be Apple’s most expensive phone yet, with an estimated starting price of around $2,000 (approximately Rs 1,90,251 in India). While it was earlier tipped to be called iPhone Ultra or iPhone Fold, recent information suggests it may be branded as “iPhone Duo”.

The event will be livestreamed at 10:30 pm Indian time, allowing viewers in India and other countries to watch the announcements in real time. The stream will be available on Apple’s official website and the company’s YouTube channel.

Apple’s move comes nearly seven years after Samsung entered the foldable smartphone segment. In addition to the foldable iPhone, Apple may also announce an upgraded HomePod, AirPods with camera features, and new Apple Watch models during the event.
