Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has introduced a premium bus service that is drawing attention for amenities usually associated with air travel.
The bus features plush leather seats with built-in screens, a washroom, free Wi‑Fi, and charging points for passengers. The offering is being positioned as a higher-comfort option for long-distance travel.
Food and beverages are also part of the experience, with coffee and tea available along with shawarma. The service includes dedicated attendants on board.
The premium service has been rolled out in the first phase on the Kochi–Thiruvananthapuram route. A video showcasing the bus facilities is spreading rapidly on social media.
