Apple held its latest product launch event in Cupertino, USA, where it introduced its first foldable iPhone, branded as the iPhone Duo. The company also unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12, Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5.

The iPhone Duo was positioned as the headline announcement of the event. Designed to fold like a book, it offers a compact form when closed and a wider display when opened. Apple said the display technology has been improved to make the crease along the fold less noticeable.

Powering the iPhone Duo is the new A20 Pro chip, aimed at faster performance for AI-driven tasks, along with upgrades to key features including the camera. Apple announced the starting price in India at Rs 2,99,900.

Apple also launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, both featuring the A20 Pro chip. The company highlighted improvements in camera performance, AI features and battery efficiency, with India starting prices set at Rs 1,64,900 for iPhone 18 Pro and Rs 1,79,900 for iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Notably, a standard “iPhone 18” model was not part of this launch event, with reports suggesting Apple plans to introduce it next year. In wearables and audio, Apple announced Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4 with enhanced health tracking, and AirPods 5 with improved sound and noise cancellation.
