A video from Jaipur, Rajasthan, has sparked outrage online after an ambulance was seen stuck in traffic allegedly caused by a woman stopping her car on a busy road to shoot a video.

In the clip, the woman is seated in the driver’s seat with the car door open, holding her phone and recording. Behind her vehicle, an ambulance is forced to halt with its siren blaring, unable to move forward.

The footage was shared by a person identified as Lokendra Sharma under the caption, “An ambulance siren is not background music.” He also appealed to viewers, saying a person’s health cannot wait even if a video can.

Social media users have strongly criticised the woman’s actions, with many calling for her driving licence to be cancelled and for a criminal case to be filed.

The incident has renewed discussions online about responsible behaviour on public roads and the dangers of prioritising social media content over emergency access.
