PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss has alleged that DMK members attempted to divert an issue in the Tamil Nadu Assembly by focusing on Chief Minister Vijay’s body language.

According to Anbumani, there was no indication that the Chief Minister had violated the dignity or decorum of the House. He said the criticism was raised after DMK members were unable to respond to the allegations made against the party.

He claimed that instead of addressing the substance of the charges, DMK members chose to register condemnation over the Chief Minister’s mannerisms, thereby shifting the debate away from the core matter.

Anbumani’s remarks come amid continuing political exchanges in the Assembly over conduct and accountability, with parties trading charges over how issues are being handled on the floor of the House.
