Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his concluding remarks at the BRICS summit in New Delhi, said the world now expects concrete results from the grouping, beyond ideas and assurances.

Noting that BRICS is set to enter its third decade, Modi said he was confident the bloc’s collective efforts would meet these expectations. He also extended greetings to China, which will host the next BRICS summit.

Modi said the past two days of discussions reinforced the belief that BRICS is not merely an association of countries but an ecosystem that delivers solutions. He expressed hope that the Delhi Declaration adopted at the summit would provide clear direction for shared vision and future cooperation.

Calling for implementation, the Prime Minister said the decisions reached must be converted into time-bound actions that create real impact on the ground, rather than remaining only as documents.

As the 18th BRICS summit concluded, Modi thanked leaders for their active participation and valuable contributions, saying their inputs added broader and deeper dimensions to cooperation and reflected the grouping’s growing importance, transparency and inclusiveness.
