Jerusalem: Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office has disclosed that spending on hair styling, makeup and appearance-related services for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara totalled Rs 4.04 crore from 2019 up to August 2026.

The details were released after Israeli lawyer Yara Winkler Shalit sought information in December 2025 under the country’s right-to-information law, asking for the costs linked to the Prime Minister’s grooming and makeup.

In response, the Prime Minister’s Office provided month-wise expenditure figures. The data shows that a total of Rs 4.49 crore was spent during the period on grooming, makeup and appearance-related expenses for prime ministers, both within Israel and during foreign travel.

According to the disclosure, about 90% of the overall amount—Rs 4.04 crore—was spent specifically on Netanyahu and his wife.
