A large-scale Vinayagar (Ganesh) exhibition has begun at Sittalapakkam, near Tambaram on the outskirts of Chennai.
Organisers said this is the 20th year of the exhibition, which will run for 10 days.
The event was inaugurated by Human Resources Department Minister Sarathkumar.
Visitors have been offered free entry to the exhibition.
