Chennai: DMK president M.K. Stalin has been affected by viral fever, leading to the postponement of the party’s ‘Mupperum Vizha’ that was scheduled for Monday evening.

DMK general secretary Duraimurugan told reporters that Stalin was unable to attend the programme to garland the statue of C.N. Annadurai due to his illness.

He said the party’s grand ceremony planned for the evening has been deferred and that the revised date will be announced later.
