Minister K.A. Sengottaiyan on Tuesday claimed that the influence of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader Vijay has reached even Hindi-speaking states.

Speaking to reporters in Gobichettipalayam in Erode district, Sengottaiyan said Tamil Nadu should continue to be a leading state for India, attract more industrial investment, ensure employment opportunities for all, and maintain law and order.

He said Vijay is emerging as a leader who is liked by people and remains in their thoughts. Sengottaiyan also asserted that Vijay is the only leader who has openly promised to deliver a “clean administration” in Tamil Nadu.

Referring to interactions with visitors from northern states, the minister said some of them expressed a desire for a chief minister like Vijay. He said he was sharing this on the occasion of former Chief Minister C.N. Annadurai’s birth anniversary.
