Minister Ramesh on Thursday warned that stringent action would be taken against individuals who secured jobs in Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) department temples using fake educational certificates.
Speaking in connection with Thiruparankundram, the minister said such appointments would not be tolerated and that action would be mandatory when violations are found.
The remarks come amid public attention around temple administration and recruitment practices under the HR&CE department.
The minister did not provide further details on specific cases, but reiterated that the department would proceed firmly against any fraudulent documentation used for employment.
