PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss has responded to questions and speculation on whether a DMK-AIADMK alliance was ever being planned. His remarks came amid renewed political chatter around possible realignments in Tamil Nadu.

In his comments, Anbumani spoke about the Prime Minister’s approach, saying the focus should remain on national development and questioning comparisons that suggest a pursuit of awards or personal recognition.

He also referred to claims attributed to a former AIADMK MLA, suggesting that if such a person makes an allegation, it may carry weight. He further pointed to the current government’s actions, including the imposition of fines, and said the impact of such measures remains to be seen.

Anbumani additionally made critical remarks about the DMK’s leadership after Karunanidhi, and cited a past statement by Chennai Mayor Priya as an example of what he described as the public now understanding her language and stance.

He also mentioned an engineer couple, suggesting they could consider extending support to quality universities and schools in India.
