Apple’s iPhone 18 series went on sale in India on Friday, with young buyers gathering from early morning outside Apple Stores in several cities, including Mumbai.
The company unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and a foldable model called iPhone Duo on September 9. In India, the iPhone Duo is priced at ₹2.99 lakh, while the iPhone 18 Pro costs ₹1.65 lakh and the iPhone 18 Pro Max ₹1.79 lakh.
The models were announced to be available from September 18, with pre-bookings opening on September 12. The report noted that these models are sold at higher prices in India compared with the US and some other countries.
As sales began, long queues were seen at Apple Stores in Delhi and Mumbai. Similar lines were reported at Asia Mall in Bengaluru and at DLF Mall in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, as customers waited to purchase the new devices.
