A protest over stray dog menace took an unusual turn at the Niphad municipal office in Nashik district, Maharashtra, after Shiv Sena party members brought two dogs in a sack and placed them on the chief officer’s desk.
According to the incident details, the group said they acted after repeated complaints about street dogs were allegedly ignored. The officer, who witnessed the scene, appeared visibly shaken.
In the video that has been circulating widely online, the two dogs are seen moving toward the area where files were kept and sitting calmly, even as the protest unfolded.
Before leaving, the Shiv Sena members warned that if the municipality still fails to act, they would bring more stray dogs and release them inside the municipal office. The episode has reportedly left municipal staff anxious.
