Call for Navodaya schools
Union Minister of State L Murugan on Saturday urged the Tamil Nadu government to establish Navodaya schools across all districts in the state.
Rozgar Mela event in Chennai
Murugan made the remarks after taking part in the central government’s “Rozgar Mela” recruitment drive held at Arumbakkam in Chennai. At the event, he distributed appointment orders to 288 candidates.
Nationwide recruitment drive
According to him, the Rozgar Mela was conducted at 45 locations across the country, and appointment orders were issued to 51,000 people through the drive.
Remarks on youth and startups
Murugan said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strong confidence in the capabilities of young people, adding that the number of startups has grown from around 400 before 2014 to over 2.5 lakh at present.
