Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated Indian women shooters for securing a silver medal at the Asian Games being held in Japan.
The medal came in the women’s 10-metre air rifle shooting event, where Sonam Uttam Maskar, Elavenil Valarivan and Vitharsa K Vinoth finished on the podium for India.
In his message, the Prime Minister said the achievement reflected the athletes’ hard work and collective effort.
He added that the team’s success would inspire many sportspersons in the coming years.
