Renowned cardiologist Dr Ashok Seth said he had a disturbing experience while dining with foreign friends at the JW Marriott, a five-star hotel in Mumbai.
According to his social media post, just as they were about to begin their meal, he noticed a cockroach between the food plates on their table, leaving him shocked.
In a sarcastic note, Seth wrote that the “little cockroach” seemed keen to share their dinner and joked that it might have preferred pizza over pasta.
He said the sight of the insect ruined his appetite and that he left without completing dinner. Seth also tagged Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Tukaram Munde, expressing hope that the matter would be addressed.
