New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that serving the people must remain the foremost duty in public life.
The remarks came as the BJP marked Modi completing 25 years in public life. As part of the party’s ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, a motorcycle yatra was flagged off on September 17.
According to the programme, 10 teams are travelling on two-wheelers from Vadnagar in Gujarat to Varanasi. Modi interacted with the yatra participants through a video conference.
He said the initiative aims to strengthen grassroots engagement with the public, encourage youth participation, and promote social welfare and cultural connections along the route.
