Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said Pakistan has been facing “sleepless nights” due to indigenously manufactured BrahMos missiles.
Speaking at the inauguration of the International Trade Expo in Greater Noida, Shah also pointed to rising investments across Uttar Pradesh, naming regions such as Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Lucknow, Agra, Aligarh and Kanpur.
He said the AK-203 rifles being produced in the state, particularly in Amethi, have also created pressure on both Naxalites and terrorists.
Shah added that despite global challenges, India has strengthened its economy and expanded export opportunities, attributing this to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s economic policies. He said trade agreements with multiple countries have boosted export capacity and stressed that strong law and order is essential to create an investment-friendly environment in any state.
