Musician Shivashree, who is also BJP MP Tejasvi Surya’s wife, drew attention online after describing an unpleasant train journey in a social media post.
She said a group of around 40 men in her coach spoke loudly throughout the trip, ruining what she expected to be a quiet ride. According to her, when she complained to the TTE, the group allegedly began singing Bollywood songs deliberately.
In her post, Shivashree reflected that “who won” was not the point, adding that as Indians they had failed to uphold civic sense. She also questioned when public conduct in the country would improve.
The same social media chatter also highlighted other trending posts, including a college student’s river-cleaning effort in Delhi, a video showing schoolchildren packed into an autorickshaw in Bhiwandi that led to police action, and a Gujarat doctor known for charging patients based on their ability to pay.
Another widely discussed incident involved a 16-year-old who raised money on X claiming it was for his sister’s eye surgery, before a hospital alleged it was a scam. The account later claimed the funds were actually needed for his father’s treatment and promised refunds, leaving donors angry and waiting.
