The second edition of the international air exercise ‘Tarang Shakti’ began on Saturday at the Jodhpur Air Force Station in Rajasthan, with participation from more than 40 countries.
Major air forces from nations such as the United Arab Emirates, France and Australia are part of the drill. France has arrived under its ‘Pegase 26’ initiative, bringing Rafale fighter jets along with defence officials.
The exercise is scheduled to run from September 26 to October 12 at Jodhpur. It will feature a mix of advanced aircraft, including the US F-35 fifth-generation fighters and the UAE’s F-16s.
India’s Air Force is also deploying frontline platforms such as the Rafale and Su-30 as the multinational training unfolds at the Rajasthan base.
