PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss has said there is a visible “unease” around actor Vijay and his recent political moves, adding that the situation should be watched patiently to see how it develops.
Referring to leaders who quit the AIADMK, Anbumani noted that they have openly claimed the party tried hard to forge an alliance with the DMK. He said such an attempt would amount to a betrayal of the AIADMK’s cadre.
At the same time, he pointed to the decision to accommodate those who left and offer them positions as a factor behind the discomfort he says is being seen around Vijay. “Let’s wait and see what happens,” he remarked.
The remarks were part of a wider set of political comments in which he also touched upon shifting alignments and public reactions to leadership decisions.
