New Delhi: Chief of Defence Staff Gen N.S. Raja Subramani has said India’s armed forces remain fully prepared to counter any threat from Pakistan with speed and precision.
Speaking in an English television programme, he noted that India stays constantly vigilant on matters related to Pakistan. He said the three services are ready to respond quickly and accurately to any emerging challenge.
Referring to last year’s “Operation Sindoor” aimed at destroying terror camps, the CDS said the mission achieved its designated objectives successfully.
He also said India has built multiple friendly partnerships in West Asia, while keeping focus on safeguarding the country’s sovereign interests.
On the border situation with China, Gen Subramani said communication channels between the two sides’ forces remain open. He added that the improved security environment in the Kashmir Valley is due to coordination between the government and security forces.
