A disturbing video from a temple in Jaipur, Rajasthan, has triggered widespread shock online after it showed a youth assaulting an elderly priest following an argument over loud devotional music.
The incident took place at a Shiva temple, where the priest, identified as Ramakrishna (63), was performing rituals when the youth objected to the high volume of the devotional songs being played.
According to the report, the disagreement escalated into a heated exchange. The video reportedly captures the youth pulling the priest down, pushing him to the ground and repeatedly kicking him.
The visuals have drawn strong reactions on social media. Police have arrested the person accused of carrying out the attack.
