PMK MLA Saumya on Tuesday dismissed reports suggesting that the PMK would be part of the TVK cabinet, calling such claims “rumours.”
She visited the Veer Anjaneyar temple located inside the Gingee Fort in Villupuram district, where she performed special prayers and aarti. Temple authorities later presented her with prasadam.
Speaking to reporters, Saumya said she had visited the same temple earlier when she attended the PMK women’s conference ahead of the Assembly elections. After becoming an MLA, she returned to the temple to offer thanks.
She reiterated that talk of the PMK getting a share in the TVK cabinet had no basis and should be treated as mere speculation.
