CPM state secretary Shanmugam on Thursday campaigned in Puducherry’s Thattanchavadi constituency, extending support to CPI candidate Saleem in the by-election.
During the campaign, Shanmugam said the by-election field was not favourable for TVK, according to reports.
The campaign event was held as part of the CPI-CPM outreach in the constituency ahead of polling.
